Whether it's the amazing and diverse Return To Metalopolis album, the classic Megadeth albums, or his fusion project OHM, Chris Poland can be counted on to deliver amazing guitar work. But his songwriting should be highlighted as much as his fretboard skills. "The Fall Of Babylon" is but one great example of the songwriting prowess Chris possesses. While Metal may be in his past and Fusion is where he is at (and always has been), all of his music is heavy in so many ways. You have the Megadeth albums, but you should also have Return To Metalopolis and the OHM album Circus Of Sound. Chris was very open in our discussion of his life in music. What was to be a 30 minute conversation ended up lasting about an hour. Not surprising, since Chris has had many musical endeavors. Not many but some are. Sometimes when I am asked in depth and with passion about these songs those memories come back to me like a flood and I am overwhelmed.
